25-27th of October the 22 CPhI Worldwide Fair was held in Frankfurt. This year more than 29,000 attendees from over 140 countries visited the event, which now covers more than 60,000 sqm of exhibition space, hosting over 1,900 exhibitors and is the market leader for the global pharmaceutical ingredients industry.

ADAMED for the eleven time actively attended CPhI. Our main focus during the three days fair was to meet new clients and start new business relations with existing clients (licensing-out)and suppliers (licensing-in) of the final pharmaceutical products or API. We were looking also for the new co-development models for our new products. The in-licensing activities were concentrating on countries from Asia, Middle East, Australia and New Zealand. Representatives of many pharmaceutical companies around the world were asking about our recent development IMATINIB, which is perceived as very attractive license product.

CPhI is also a perfect opportunity to meet with current partners and to discuss with them the ongoing cooperation and future prospect projects. During the tree days ADAMED’s team had more than 130 meetings at our stand and also at clients stands.

The next CPhI Worldwide will take place in 2012 in Madrid.
