Maciej Adamkiewicz attend meeting in Lodz

Maciej Adamkiewicz, President of the Adamed Group, took part  in a meeting of members of the Polish Technology Platform for Innovative Medicine along with the marshal of the Lodz voivodeship, Witold Stepien. The meeting was held on December 16th, 2011. It was jointly organized by the Office of the Marshal in Lodz and the Lodz Regional Development Agency S.A.
During the meeting, Maciej Adamkiewicz presented the concept and aims of the Platform as well as stressed the specifics of the pharmaceutical sector and the need for close cooperation between administration and companies in order to develop a joint strategy for further development, not only in the Lodz voivodeship but also in the whole country. 
Also presented during the meeting were initiatives of the Lodz Regional Development S.A. relating to the creation of the „InnoBioBiz” – an Innovative Business Cluster in Lodz and the future of the Technopark in Lodz. Participating in the debate were also representatives of the Pharmaceutical Institute, pharmaceutical companies and research centers. On behalf of the latter, Prof. Jerzy Lubinski, coordinator of the Polish Technology Platform for Innovative Medicine spoke about the large need to organize further meeting between companies and scientific centers.

The debate was summed up by Marshal Stepien who announced possibility of further and regular meetings.
